I would greatly appreciate to know where the cover picture has been taken. This image illustrate so well the power of nature. Thank you! myo82000@yahoo.ca

Hello, I would like to be considered for a review copy of this exceptional sounding work. I am a freelancer working and living in northeast Wisconsin; an area where the Nature Conservancy has been making quite a few purchases both individually and as a partner with our Department of Natural Resources. I believe there would be an interest in the local newsprint media. (Marinette Eagle-Herald, Peshtigo Times, Green Bay Press Gazette, etc.) I can be contacted at: Robert LeHew N9887 Caldron Falls Road Crivitz, WI 54114 artist@cybrzn.com Thanks

I would like to consider reviewing the book for the journal Science COmmunication (I am the review editor). Please send a review copy to: J. Valenti, 1531 E. Dawn Dr. SLC UT 84121 (email: valentijm@yahoo.com; phone: 801-942-8516)

I believe that this book should be required reading for Nature Conservancy staffers, particularly those of us who have been here 5 years or less. The book gave me insight into the cultural history...and how many of the issues we are facing today are simply reformulated issues of the past -- including the tension between those who were the purists and scientists and the more pragmatic and market-driven. I am sometimes thought as a cynic I have recommended this book to all our staff...and have given a copy to several donors. . Thank you for such an honest and forthright portrait of our organization.
